Terms for buying tickets - Oameni
Version of October 2026. Here you'll find the rules for tickets bought through the platform. They add to the general terms and conditions and don't replace them.
1. Definitions
1.1 The Platform is the app and website operated by RedShift IT S.R.L., tax ID 26963888, registered at 14 Strada Piscului, email [email protected] (“we”).
1.2 The Organizer is the community, association, company or person who runs the event and sells you the ticket.
1.3 The Service fee is the amount shown separately, as a “Service fee” line, when the organizer has chosen for the buyer to pay it.
2. The platform's role
2.1 We're an intermediary. We act in the organizer's name and on their behalf: we display the event, collect payment through Stripe and deliver your ticket.
2.2 We're not the seller of the ticket and we don't run the event. The sale contract is between you and the organizer, and the organizer is responsible for the event and the ticket.
2.3 Your money goes to the organizer's payment account. We don't hold it. If you bought the ticket through the App Store or Google Play, that store collects the payment under its own rules, and the store also makes the refund (section 7.2).
3. Who sells you the ticket
3.1 Before you pay, the billing popup shows you the organizer's details: name, tax ID, trade register number and email address.
3.2 With these details you can reach the organizer for any question about the event, the ticket or the invoice.
4. Prices and the service fee
4.1 The ticket price is the one set by the organizer and is shown in the event's currency.
4.2 If a Service fee applies, you see it before you pay, as a separate line, and the total includes the ticket price and the Service fee.
4.3 There are no hidden costs. The amount you confirm at payment is the amount you pay.
5. Payment
5.1 Payment is secure and goes through Stripe, by card or by the other methods shown at checkout. If you buy from the iPhone or Android app, you pay through the App Store or Google Play, and the payment follows the store's rules.
5.2 You get your ticket by email and in your account once the payment is confirmed.
6. Right of withdrawal
6.1 Event tickets are leisure services provided on a specific date or within a specific period. For them you don't have the 14-day right of withdrawal, under art. 16(l) of Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014.
6.2 This doesn't affect your rights in sections 7 and 8 if the event is cancelled or postponed.
7. Event cancellation
7.1 If the event is cancelled, you get back everything you paid, in full, including the Service fee.
7.2 The refund is made automatically, to the same payment method. The organizer bears the cost of the refund, not you. Tickets bought through the App Store or Google Play are the exception: the store makes the refund, under its own rules. We void the ticket and tell you, in the cancellation message, how to ask for it.
7.3 How soon the money shows up in your account also depends on your bank.
8. Event postponement
8.1 If the event is postponed, your ticket stays valid for the new date.
8.2 A refund is possible only if the organizer has allowed it for that event. If they do, you get everything back, including the Service fee.
8.3 If the organizer doesn't allow it, you'll see that on the event page. Talk to them directly if you can't make the new date.
9. Invoices
9.1 When a Service fee is charged, you receive two documents. The organizer issues the ticket document, and we issue the invoice for the Service fee.
9.2 If no Service fee applies, you receive only the organizer's document.
9.3 The details on the documents are the ones you entered at payment. Check them before you confirm.
10. Complaints
10.1 For any problem with the event or the ticket, write to the organizer first, at the email address shown in the billing popup.
10.2 If you don't get an answer or the issue is about the platform, write to us at [email protected]. We'll reply as quickly as we can.
10.3 You can also turn to ANPC (anpc.ro), to alternative dispute resolution bodies and to the competent courts.
11. Your data
11.1 The data needed for your ticket is shared with the organizer, who uses it to run the event.
11.2 We process it under the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes
12.1 We may update these terms. The new version applies to tickets bought after it's published, and tickets already bought stay under the version in force at purchase.
